You can now apply to have a trade or charity stall at this years Christmas Sparkle event. This annual event is hugely popular and we have already had a massive amount of interest in bookings so please do not miss your chance to be involved!
The Town Council bookings are for outdoor pitches on the High Street and College Street.

From March 2020, Highways England will be closing all pedestrian and cycle paths around Chowns Mill junction for safety reasons and to allow the new improved crossing to be built.
A 24/7 shuttle bus service will operate for pedestrians and cyclists for the duration of the improvements works. A cycle rack facility is provided on the board the bus.

Corby fly-tipper fined over £3,900
On Monday (10 February) a man from Corby received a fine over £3,900 for fly-tipping in East Northamptonshire.
East Northamptonshire Council received reports of fly-tipping on Benefield Road, Deenethorpe in March 2019. The dumped waste consisted of a large skip bag filled with bathroom renovation material and related plumbing waste.... Read More »

The Council is looking to improve facilities at Castle Fields by the installation of a low level timber trim trail close to the main entrance. Equipment will include items such as balance beams, log walks, clatter bridge, rope crossing bridge and walk and stretch posts.
