According to the latest figures (collected in the autumn of 2017 and published in January 2018), 4,751 people were sleeping rough in England. The figure has been rising for the past 7 years.

Best Dressed Window Competition is back!

Best Dressed Window Competition is back!

The annual 'Best Dressed Window' competition is starting again soon with local businesses competing to have the best Christmas display.

There is a People's Choice Award and a Mayor's Choice Award. Voting forms can be found in participating businesses and the Town Hall so please join in and have your say.

The winners will be announced at December's Farmers Market on Saturday 22nd December.

Higham Ferrers Christmas Bauble Trail.

This year's Christmas competition is a bauble trail around Higham Ferrers starting on 17th November.

Grab an entry form and start searching for the Higham Town Council baubles which will be displayed in the windows of local shops. Write down as many as you can and hand your entry in either at the local schools or at the Town Hall.
