Community Speed Watch

Are you interested in helping us to reduce speeding in Higham Ferrers?

The Town Council is recruiting volunteers for Community Speed Watch, an initiative run by Northamptonshire Police in conjunction with the Northamptonshire Safer Roads Alliance to enable local people to be actively involved in road safety and reducing speed in their community.

Anyone who wants to take part would be provided with full training and equipment to allow them to operate roadside speed monitoring patrols. These patrols take place over a four-week period between March and October.
