HIGHAM FERRERS CELEBRATES 30 YEARS OF TWINNING WITH HACHENBURG
Mayor Cllr Tina Reavey was due to visit Hachenburg this August as part of the Twinning visit and mark 30 years of the association. The Twinning Treaty was signed by Cllr Mrs Anna Sauntson in 1990 during the first Twinning trip to the town situated in the Westerwald region of Germany

Past and Present - New Interpretation Panel tells story of the Stanwick Road Recreation Ground

Higham Ferrers Town Council Grants £2000 To First Responders
Earlier this year, Higham Ferrers Town Council were pleased to be able to grant £2000 to the East Northants First Responders. The First Responders are a fantastic and hard working group of volunteers who live in the local community, and are trained by East Midlands Ambulance Service to be dispatched to 999 calls to provide emergency care.

CARVING OUT A PIECE OF HISTORY
New life is being breathed into the Three Oaks tree which had to be taken down for safety reasons as part of the Chowns Mill roundabout improvement works.
Thanks to the talents of a local woodcarver, residents will soon be able to enjoy the tree once again and it will continue to play a part in the community for many decades to come.
