SUMMER FUN DAY

Come and support the Mayors' Charity event on Saffron Road Recreation Ground from 11am to 4pm on Sunday 22nd July. There will be stalls, refreshments, bouncy castle and other activities.

MAYORS’ CHARITIES RECEIVE A SHARE OF £2835

On 14th June Cllr Peter Tomas distributed the funds he raised during his Mayoral year which concluded in May 2018. During the year he hosted several events and raised the grand total of £2835. He supported charities which are all involved in supporting victims of cancer. Macmillan Nurses, Prostate Cancer Organisation and Crazy Hats all received £945.

Let's Co-operate

Staff from the High Street Co-operative store in Higham Ferrers have been busy working in the community today. Liaising with the Town Council the Co-op staff have volunteered in the cemetery. They sanded down the wood and metal work on the public seats and have started to give them a new lease of life with a lick of paint.
