Serving the people of Higham Ferrers

Floral Tributes

Flowers can be left at the War Memorial on the Market Square. There may also be designated areas at the churches in the town.

The Mayor will lay a wreath at 10.30am on Saturday 10th September.

On Tuesday 20th September, the day following the funeral of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the floral tributes will be moved to Chichele College to be composted and used on the garden there. This garden was visited by The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh on 9th July 1965 when they were visiting her Duchy of Lancaster Estates in Northamptonshire, and they were greeted there by the Chancellor of the Duchy.
