To help minimise the risk to our staff and the public, access to the Town Hall is restricted. Throughout the pandemic the Council has been contactable via phone or email with staff working at home. The Town Hall is manned by one person between 9.30am an 2pm. This is subject to change due to sickness or isolation.
Preference is that you contact us by phone or email. We are operating an appointment-based system to enable anyone needing to visit our offices to do so. To control the number of visitors on site and to maintain social distancing, appointment attendance is limited to a maximum of 2 people – including children – from the same household or household bubble. When booking an appointment, we will ask for the number of guests.
Brief enquiries can be dealt with by a video intercom now installed at the front door.
Note: Changes may take place at short notice due to changes in government guidance and the need for staff to isolate or being on holiday.
Christmas Operating Hours
We will be closed from midday Christmas Eve until 4th January.
