Book of condolence opens in memory of Councillor Harwood MBE

Following the sad news of the death of deputy leader of East Northamptonshire Council, Cllr Glenn Harwood MBE a book of condolence has been opened to the public.

Cllr Steven North, Leader, is inviting residents who wish to pay their respects to sign the book.

"Glenn was a positive force and influence – and a good listener for anyone who wanted his time. He will be missed by many." said Cllr North. "It's important that the district has an opportunity to express its loss at this difficult time."

The book is available for signing in reception at the council's offices on Cedar Drive, Thrapston during normal opening hours.

It will be available until Wednesday, 13 December after which it shall be passed on to the Harwood family on behalf of the local community.
