Tennis and MUGA lettings
The Council has now ceased operating a Tennis Court Supervisor service following very little take up from the public. If you are in a group that plays either 5 a side football or netball the Council would like to hear from you as attractive discounts can be applied for multiple bookings.
Hiring can only be by persons over the age of 18 and you will need to provide ID and proof of address when you hire. Hire costs £2.50 per person per hour for each court or £20 per hour for the Multi Use Games Court. Hiring is now by visiting the Town Hall between 0900-1400 Monday to Friday, terms and conditions apply.
You may also be interested to know that Ferrers and Rushden Tennis Club now meet at these courts and further details can be obtained from Steve Roberts on 01933-461028 or 07960 846092. The club plan to start a social tennis evening on a regular basis for those who enjoy tennis but do not wish to enter tennis competitions.
