Higham Ferrers Farmer's Market is held between 9am and 1pm on the last Saturday of each month except in December when it is moved to the last available day before Christmas.
Higham Ferrers Farmer's Market is a Certified Farmer's Market, and is part of the FARMA organisation. This means that the market has been inspected and complies with a strict set of rules and all the market traders have also been verified as operating within the rules.
At the Farmer's Market you will be buying directly from the producer and have the opportunity to talk to them as to how stock has been reared or crops have been raised. At this Market you can obtain such diverse products as ostrich meat, Aberdeen Angus beef, organic eggs and vegetables, Italian peppers, organic pork and lamb, poultry. pork in all its forms in addition to pickles, pies, herbs, fresh fish, fruit and honey ,
